Dr. Don Ajith Rohana Colonne is a student of Ananda College (Colombo), Thurstan College (Colombo) and Ananda Sastralaya (Kotte) in Sri Lanka. From 1974 to 1975, he attended the Love land High School in Colorado, USA under the American Field Service (AFS)            
Cultural Exchange Scholarship Programme and graduated from there.Upon his return to Sri Lanka in 1975, he entered the University of Colombo and got

a Bachelor of Science Degree in 1979. Subsequently, he obtained the Master of Business Administration Degree from the Postgraduate Institute of Management (PIM) of the University of Sri Jayawardenepura in 1994 and the Master of Arts in Economics Degree from the University of Colombo in 1996. In 2014 he obtained the Doctor of Philosophy degree from the International University of America. Dr. Colonne started his working career in 1979 as an Instructor in Engineering Mathematics at the University of Peradeniya. Then he joined the prestigious IBM World Trade Corporation in Sri Lanka and worked there for 13 years. At the time he left IBM in 1992, he was a Senior Staff Analyst. While pursuing his postgraduate studies from 1991 to 1996, he became a Licensed Investment Adviser in the Stock Market and a Promoter of Financial, Investment, and Insurance products. Also, he worked as a Consultant to the National Savings Bank and to the National Enterprise Bank, during the said period.

In his lecture he teach lot of  important things to us .In our life we have to face lot of trouble. So his lecture was a great help to us.

Our greatest failure became our greatest success.
In our life we have to face lot of failures.He taught to us how
 many times Thomas Alva Edison fail.

Success does not mean about money.It talk about how rich ideas in our mind.he taught us money is not important.

The University of Kelaniya has its origin in the historic Vidyalankara Pirivena, founded in 1875 by Ratmalane Sri Dharmaloka Thera as a centre of learning for Buddhist monks.
With the establishment of modern universities in Sri Lanka in the 1940s and 1950s, the Vidyalankara Pirivena became the Vidyalankara University in 1959, later the Vidyalankara Campus of the University of Ceylon in 1972, and, ultimately, the University of Kelaniya in 1978.

My Dream Trip

My Dream Trip

1.I have enough money to travel                    
2.I have one month period to travel
3.I have not any doubt about visa
4.I have two children and husband

Those are the condition in my topic.first,I have to manage my vacation,first I did every important works I have to do.
Then I hand over all my works to any other friend.if not it can be a big problem.
Then i call to my mother and ask her to stay one month in our home with my family.I like to go alone.
because this is my dream trip.

I would like to visit every where in the world.but I have small time.
so I visit few number of places i like to visit.

First,I like to travel "Dabadiwa".I am Buddhism. That is place the lord Buddha's life spent.So I want to worship that place.I spend 7 days in India.at that time I like to visit "Taj Mahal".

Then I like to visit "Halong Bay"in vietnam. That is the most beautiful bay in the world.I spend 2 days near the village.I can stay at Golden Gem Tuan Chau Hotel.I can Book Hotel room online.

Then I want to travel to Italy to visit "Venice" .The city of Venice is a major center of culture and tourism in Italy, a country in southeastern Europe.

 It is famous for its beautiful canals, palaces, and art. The city is built on more than 100 small islands. They lie in a body of water called a lagoon at the edge of the Adriatic Sea.

I spent 4 days in Venice.

The main tourist destination in Myanmar is "Bagan".

 capital of the first Myanmar Empire; one of the richest archaeological sites in South-east Asia.

 Situated on the eastern bank of the Ayeyawaddy River. Bagan covers an area of 42sq.km 

containing over 2000 well-preserved pagodas and temples of the 11th-13th century.So I want to 

travel to Myanmar and spend 2 days in Myanmar.

"Santorini" is another place I want to visit in Greece.Located on top of a cliff with a
 spectacular view of the Palea volcano, Nea Kameni, and the island of Thirassia, Oia is
the most popular and arguably the most beautiful of all the picturesque villages of the
 beautiful Greek island of Santorini. Only about 11 km from Fira, on the north of the
island, Oia will charm you with its traditional stone houses lining the narrow streets,
breathtaking blue-domed churches, and Sunbaked verandas.I spend 6 days in Greece at that time I visit "Peloponnese", "Meteora", "Meteora".

Now I have only 7 days.so I would like to spent those days in "Netherland".Netherland is
very beautiful country. I visit to see "Keukenh of Garden", "Amsterdam" ,"Biesbosch",
"Hoge Veluwe National Park"

I like to visit lot.But I have only one month so I have to come back.This is My Dream Trip.

Expert Game & Pen &Thread Game

Expert game & Pen & Thread game are very interesting and attractive games.but I miss those games because of my sickness.I really miss that day.

Expert Game

This game was very different from other games.The class was grouped into 5 team with 6 members.
Three members were selected from each group and knew about their expert area.

In one group, there was experts in Mathematics , Vehicle & Design. Then they start  ROBOT CAR  BUSINESS Another group had cricket,cooking & riding bikes.Those areas are not match with each others.They had design a plan to FCD deliver food to the international cricket matches.😃That was  amazing plans.Another group was experts in football ,business & food.so they came up with CFB(chicken handi for football players as a business ).an other group,there was experts in IT, Business & Designing.they had create DEVSPACE.LK .It was a start-up company which provide the opportunities for upcoming new developers in Sri Lanka, specially the undergraduate levels.

what we got from this activity

Pen &Thread Game

This game was really fun and can learn lot of things from this game.

In this game ,again class grouped into 3 team with 9 members.and They were given 

• 30cm long thread
• a pen 
• a paper.

In this game each group had to write a word using pen on the paper.but there was a special different ,every  team members had to join to write but anyone can't tough pen by hand. Then every team used thread to tough the pen .thread divide into part and tided them top ,bottom,and middle of the pen. After that  every one take a parts of thread and wrote the word.

We  divided into 5 groups and said to appointed a team leader to each group.Then team leader and another team member must went to the front .every team got one picture to cut .the two members must cut it 76 pieces and gave 10 pieces to madam.other 66 pieces put into a bag .then madam shuffled and gave another team's bags to us .then we should join them and create the picture .Actually we don't know what  the picture is .so it was very difficult to us.
